Q-Energy
Q ENERGY is a full-service renewable energy company. It develops, builds and manages solar, onshore and offshore wind, battery storage and hybrid plants, and plans to enter green hydrogen. It is not an AI company. It was launched on 1 July 2022 by Hanwha Solutions, which merged RES-Group's French business with Qcells' Green Energy Solutions unit, and Hanwha Solutions is still its direct parent. Its website lists about 7,000 MW under development, more than 2,800 MW of completed projects, about 600 employees and 13 offices across Europe. Bounce Watch reports €50.4M of debt financing from Bpifrance and Crédit Agricole in September 2024. Revenue figures from third-party sites vary widely, so none are given here.
