Yige Cloud Technology raises $14.9M Series B
Chinese reports label the September 14 round a B+ rather than a plain Series B. It was described as nearly ¥100M. MTR Lab and Northern Light Venture Capital invested jointly, and Voyagers Partners acted as exclusive financial adviser. The company said the money will go toward upgrading its governance platform for both people and AI agents, and toward expanding overseas, including local teams and service capacity. The timing is notable. In May 2026 the company closed a Series B of several hundred million yuan, led by new investor Monolith with existing backer Future Qichuang participating. That followed a Pre-B of nearly ¥100M in June 2025 led by Sequoia China. The company also appears under the names Eagle Cloud and Yigeyun. It began with zero-trust SASE office security and now describes itself as enterprise AI governance infrastructure. Valuation was not disclosed. For AI builders, the repositioning is the signal. Investors are funding tooling that controls what AI agents can access inside a company, and security teams are becoming a gating buyer for agent deployments. Startups selling agents into large enterprises should expect identity, data and permission controls to feature in procurement. The pace of three rounds in about a year also suggests capital is moving quickly to this layer.
