Liner raises $36.1M Series C
LB Investment led the round. Existing backers InterVest, Atinum Investment and CJ Investment followed on, and Korea Development Bank, KB Securities, Daishin Securities, STIC Ventures and Helios Private Equity joined as new investors. Cumulative funding now stands at roughly $64.3 million. The round arrives about one year and ten months after the previous financing. Valuation was not disclosed in the sources reviewed. The company says it has more than 14 million registered users across about 220 countries, and scored 95.3 on OpenAI's SimpleQA benchmark. Its enterprise push includes integration into HUMAIN ONE, the Saudi government-backed AI platform. Proceeds are earmarked for core technology and infrastructure, enterprise AX market entry, global hiring and marketing. For founders, the pattern is a consumer product with a large free user base being repositioned as a verification layer for corporate and government buyers. One analyst view notes that 14M registrations and one HUMAIN deployment do not establish recurring enterprise revenue. The open question is whether citation-backed answers can convert mass usage into paid contracts, and that is the test for any AI company moving upmarket from consumer traction.
