Inspiren raises $70M Series C
NewView Capital led the round, with Insight Partners, Primary Venture Partners, Scale Venture Partners, Vintage Investment Partners, Lightbank, Avenir Growth Capital, Story Ventures and Camber Creek taking part. The valuation exceeds $500 million, and total funding reaches $225 million. The money is earmarked for building out sales and marketing, widening the hardware ecosystem and extending the AI platform, so its models can detect, predict and act on a broader set of events and behaviors. The company was founded in 2016 by Michael Wang, a former Green Beret and cardiothoracic nurse, and is led by CEO Alex Hejnosz. It says its platform serves communities tied to more than 80% of the largest senior housing investors, including AEW and Sabra Healthcare REIT. Its eCall system recently added Two-Way Voice and Alert Claiming, which show care teams what is happening and who is responding. The features are rolling out in phases. For AI founders, the deal shows a physical AI product reaching a growth-stage valuation in a regulated, labor-short vertical. The commercial pattern is worth noting: distribution through property owners and investors, hardware paired with software, and a pitch built on staffing pressure. The platform uses ambient sensors and computer vision to predict falls before they happen. Hardware-heavy AI companies can raise at scale when customers see a clear operational payoff.
