Hang Ten Systems raises $53M Seed
Xora, the early-stage platform backed by Temasek, led the round. Mayfield, which led the earlier $32M seed, and Aramco Ventures returned. Other backers include Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra and Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang, who has joined the board. Founder Vishal Sikka, a former Infosys CEO, declined to disclose valuation but described it as a bump up from the first round. Proceeds go toward hiring engineering, consulting and sales staff in the US, the Middle East, Australia, India and Europe. Hang Ten was founded in May 2026 by Sikka and Sanjay Rajagopalan. It sells advisory, transformation and applied AI services to large enterprises. Delivery relies on agentic code generation, a reusable skills library and domain experts, which the company says undercuts the cost and timeline of a traditional systems integrator. It reports several multi-million-dollar contracts signed between the two rounds. One report put headcount at roughly two dozen. For founders, the round shows investors will fund AI-native services firms that compete with outsourcing incumbents, not only software product companies. The pitch rests on delivery economics instead of license revenue, and early contracts were enough to support a second raise within weeks. Founders selling into enterprises should expect investors to ask how much work an agent-based delivery model can absorb without adding headcount.
