Félix raises $87M Series C
The $87M equity portion was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with QED Investors, Castle Island Ventures, Switch Ventures, Contour Venture Partners and Endeavor Catalyst taking part. A separate $113M warehouse credit line from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund makes the package $200M. The company has not disclosed a valuation. It says only that the figure roughly tripled since its $75M Series B in April 2025. Proceeds are meant to scale remittances and add lending and savings. The company reports more than $8B processed, over 6 million people served across 11 Latin American markets, and revenue growth above 2.5x year over year. Its transfers run through WhatsApp and, per one report, use USDC on the Stellar blockchain. It competes with Western Union and MoneyGram, as well as digital players such as Remitly. For AI founders, the deal shows that a messaging app can serve as the main product surface and distribution channel, with no standalone app. It also shows a financing pattern: credit lines sized to transaction volume sit alongside equity, which limits dilution for businesses that front capital to customers. Chat-native products aimed at one underserved group can reach scale on that basis.
