Evvy raises $40M Series B
Catalio Capital Management led the oversubscribed round. New investors include US Fertility Innovation Fund, Rethink Impact, Muse Capital and Alumni Ventures. Total funding now stands near $60 million across three rounds since 2021, and a $14 million Series A in September 2023 was led by Left Lane Capital. Valuation was not disclosed in the coverage reviewed. The money goes toward validating AI-driven diagnostic and care models across women's health conditions, starting with fertility, widening distribution through physician and partner channels, and deepening the collaboration with US Fertility. One fertility project takes samples from IVF patients to test whether infection and inflammation markers predict implantation success or failure. The company says it serves more than 100,000 patients and 3,000 practitioners. For AI builders, the pitch rests on data more than on the model. Forbes describes the raise as buying what sits underneath the test, including hundreds of microbial genomes that exist nowhere in public science. Catalio's Jacob Vogelstein pointed to the company's "unique data and AI infrastructure" as the draw. The lesson is that a proprietary, clinically grounded dataset collected through a paid product can support a Series B. The harder test is the clinical validation still ahead.
