NEURA Robotics raises $1.4B at $7B with a $1B order book
The full amount is contingent on NEURA hitting stated company performance milestones, and the milestones are not disclosed in the company's release. Bloomberg reported the roughly $7B valuation, and NEURA declined to confirm it. Tether led the Series C. Other participants were Qualcomm Technologies, Amazon, Nvidia, Bosch, Schaeffler, the European Investment Bank, imec.xpand, Lingotto Horizon and InterAlpen Partners. The money is earmarked for deployment of humanoids and cognitive robots in the US, China and Japan, expansion of the Neuraverse platform and NEURA Gyms, and manufacturing in Germany and India. The stated goal is millions of robots by 2030. The gyms are real-world training environments for cognitive robots and physical AI. The company was founded in 2019 by David Reger. One tracker puts the valuation step at 8.8x, from $800M at the January 2025 Series B. For AI founders, the investor mix shows where physical AI money comes from: chipmakers, a cloud provider, industrial suppliers and a stablecoin issuer in one cap table. Strategic investors often bring supply, manufacturing and customer access along with capital. Milestone-tied headline figures also mean the committed amount can be well below the number announced.
