Skild AI raises $1.4B Series C at $14B led by SoftBank and Nvidia
Macquarie Capital and Bezos Expeditions also joined the round, as did Samsung, LG, Schneider Electric and Salesforce Ventures. Existing backers Lightspeed, Felicis, Coatue and Sequoia Capital increased their stakes. The company says the money will scale its omni-bodied intelligence platform across all data sources. The step-up is steep. A $300 million Series A in July 2024 valued Skild at $1.5 billion, and a reported $500 million Series B in summer 2025 pushed that to about $4.5 billion. Total funding now exceeds $2 billion. One report puts revenue at roughly $30 million, reached within months during 2025. Competitor Physical Intelligence was valued at $5.6 billion at the time of the deal, well below Skild. For founders, the cap table is the signal. Skild builds software, not robots, and its backers include companies that run factories and supply chains. They have a direct reason to want a robot brain that works across hardware they already own. Nvidia's presence also ties robotics model training to compute supply. Startups pitching a hardware-agnostic model layer now have a clear valuation benchmark. They also face a tougher bar: investors are paying for distribution through strategic partners, not only for model quality.
