Cyera raises $600M Series G (July), ahead of its $400M September extension
Evolution Equity Partners led the round, with Cyberstarts, Temasek and all existing investors taking part, including Accel, AT&T Ventures, Blackstone, Coatue and Spark Capital. The company's announcement does not list Sequoia as a participant. Sequoia appears only among the backers named in the September release. The company dated the round to June, not July as the roundup has it. Cyera reported that annual recurring revenue has tripled for three consecutive years. Goldman Sachs paid the same $12 billion price Evolution had set, in its first check into the company. The money supports the AI security roadmap, entry into the federal market, and growth across EMEA and APAC. Cyera then reportedly put a good chunk of that capital into Oasis Security, at a value around $1 billion. In January 2026, Cyera raised $400 million at a $9 billion valuation. For AI founders, the buying pressure is in governance. Many organizations struggle to tell human activity from AI-generated activity in their own systems. That slows deployments. Cyera's spending on agent and identity controls suggests enterprise security teams may start requiring access auditing before agents go live. Startups selling agents should expect those questions in procurement. The flat-priced extension also shows late-stage investors will keep funding category leaders without raising the price.
