Arintra raises $25M Series B
Define Ventures led the round, with Peak XV Partners, Yale New Haven Health's innovation center, Endeavor Health Ventures, Y Combinator, Counterpart Ventures, Ten13 and Spider Capital participating. Valuation was not disclosed. Endeavor Health, an early customer, also backed the Series A. The company says it now processes more than $5 billion in annual claim value for health system clients. The money goes toward signing more enterprise health systems, widening specialty coverage and pushing into more of the revenue cycle. The announcement came on August 26, a few days after the Crunchbase record date. The product started as autonomous medical coding. It now feeds that coding data into clinical documentation improvement, denial appeals, payer analysis and DRG validation. The platform covers 23+ specialties and four care settings. Arintra says this replaces several disconnected revenue cycle tools with one system. Its earlier materials cite EHR integrations with Epic and Athenahealth. For founders, the pattern is a narrow AI wedge, here coding, that grows into adjacent workflows once it holds trusted data inside a customer's system. Health systems as customers and investors in the same company, as Endeavor and Yale New Haven are, can speed up enterprise sales. They also tie a startup's roadmap closely to a few large buyers.
