Synapath raises $14.9M Seed
The round is described by Chinese outlets as an angel or Pre-A financing of nearly 100 million yuan, so the "seed" label in Crunchbase reflects a loose stage definition. Proceeds are earmarked for research on human behavior data products, core technology iteration, industrial production systems and industry partnerships. PitchBook lists CDH Investments, Guangzhou Industrial Investment Holding Group, Kunpeng Capital, Ren Capital and COE Capital among 15 investors, and puts cumulative funding at $29.7M. It shows several earlier rounds since the October 2024 seed, including two in August 2026. No valuation has been published. The Shenzhen company, founded in 2024, converts human video and first-person demonstrations into structured action data for embodied AI training. It reports hundreds of thousands of hours of data, more than 36 million entries and over 260 scenario categories. Named partners include X Square Robot, Fourier Intelligence and ROBOTERA, plus large internet companies. For founders, the deal points to demand for training data as its own layer of the robotics stack, separate from model and hardware makers. Buyers appear to value a repeatable pipeline covering task design, collection, governance and delivery. Teams building robot models may find sourcing from specialists faster than collecting data in-house.
