Yuno raises $45M Series B
Global PayTech Ventures led the round. Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, QuantumLight Capital, Monashees, Kaszek, Endeavor Catalyst, Rasmal Ventures, Further Ventures and GrowthX Capital also took part. Total funding now stands at $80 million. Valuation was not disclosed. Proceeds will go toward making Doha the regional headquarters for the Gulf Cooperation Council, extending AI-native transaction infrastructure, and a route to profitability. Other stated priorities are in-person payments, agentic commerce (transactions started by AI agents), and a larger US presence. Yuno reports more than $5 billion in failed transaction volume recovered for customers over the past year, and authorization rates up about 5%, saving over $500 million in processing costs. It expects to reach $100 billion in annual volume within 12 months. It also holds a technical service certification from the Saudi Central Bank. Customers include McDonald's, GoFundMe and Rappi. For AI founders, the round shows payments routing and fraud tooling being recast as AI infrastructure, with agent-initiated purchases as the next use case. Teams selling agents that transact will need processors that handle many payment methods and regional compliance. Orchestration layers like this one are a likely way to get that coverage.
