cymphony.io raises $25M Series A
Sequoia Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund co-led the round. It values the company at more than $100 million post-investment and follows a previously undisclosed seed investment from Sequoia, bringing total funding to $30 million. The team is about 23 people across Israel and the U.S. Three Talpiot program graduates founded it roughly two years ago. The product is a "workforce graph" that links employees, AI agents and other non-human identities to the data and activity signals showing what each can reach. In one case, it found about 85,000 files reachable by AI tools at a US public company, helped close the gap, and confirmed none had been accessed through those systems. Named customers include Syngenta, KKR and Cass Information Systems. The company also reports double-digit enterprise customers and seven-figure ARR, which are unverified. The open question is category fit. Customers currently run it alongside core identity tools, and Sequoia sees possible future overlap with data-loss-prevention products. For AI builders, agent access is becoming a security review item. Enterprise buyers will increasingly ask what an agent can reach and who approved it. Products that ship agents into corporate systems should expect those questions during procurement.
