Corgi Insurance raises $108M Series A
The $108M figure combines a new Series A with earlier seed money, according to the company. Kindred Ventures led the seed and returned for the follow-on. Other backers include Y Combinator, Contrary, Glade Brook Capital Partners, SV Angel and Phosphor Capital. Valuation was not disclosed, but PitchBook estimates $630M post-money. The company reports annual recurring revenue above $40M since it received carrier approval in July 2025. Kindred cited more than 40,000 policyholders across 49 states.
The round was only the start of a fast run. A $160M Series B led by TCV followed in May at a $1.3B valuation. A $106M B1 came about three weeks later at $2.6B. Forbes has since reported a further extension at roughly $4B, though the amount and investors were not disclosed.
For AI founders, Corgi is both a supplier and a signal. It sells tech and AI liability cover, a line it says legacy carriers struggle to price, so it may be a new source of coverage. It also shows that investors will pay up for an AI-native company that owns the whole regulated stack, from underwriting to claims, rather than reselling someone else's license.
