Bose Quantum raises $144.7M Series B
Beijing Financial Holdings Group, ICBC Capital, CMB International, Shenzhen Investment Holdings and Addor Capital were among the co-leads, and more than a dozen existing shareholders also followed on. The money is earmarked for a pilot chip production line, an expanded Shenzhen quantum factory, and work on technical barriers to practical quantum computing. Crunchbase's record leaves the investors blank, so the lead names come from other outlets. The company, founded in November 2020, has now completed 10 financing rounds. It later closed a pre-IPO round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, and has launched an IPO process. Its systems are deployed at the National Supercomputing Center Chengdu, China Mobile and North China University of Technology. Peers are raising too: SpinQ announced a 600 million yuan Series C+ round, and Origin Quantum raised close to 3 billion yuan in a pre-IPO round in June 2026. For AI builders, the round shows quantum hardware being funded as AI infrastructure, with quantum compute layers combined with classical AI ecosystems as a stated goal. Capital in China is concentrating in vertically integrated hardware makers backed by state money. Founders in adjacent compute or optimization software should expect those firms to bundle their own tooling and cloud access.
