Beep raises $20M Series B
Mobileye led the round, and existing investors also took part. Beep's own announcement did not state the round size. The $20M figure traces to a regulatory filing: a notice to the SEC, dated July 2026, to raise $20,000,037 in a Series B. The company put its total capital raised at approximately $130 million. Valuation has not been reported. Beep says the money will go toward expanding its mobility-as-a-service offerings, deepening work with technology and public-sector partners, and continuing deployment of its AutonomOS platform. It runs autonomous vehicle deployments across multiple states, serving public transit operators, communities, campuses and airports. PitchBook also lists an acquisition of Freebee dated September 16, 2026, which the company has not confirmed in the sources reviewed. For founders, the notable part is the lead investor. Mobileye supplies autonomous driving technology, and here it is backing an operator that runs the vehicles. Beep is selling operations software and service management, not a self-driving stack. That is a different business from building the driving system. Dealroom's read is that the sector is capital-intensive, depends on state-by-state approvals, and that $20M is modest for a fleet operator, which could mean more raises ahead.
