Ayble Health raises $16M Series A
Neon led the oversubscribed round. Unum Ventures, Upfront Ventures, M13, Cleveland Clinic Ventures, DigiTx, Accomplice and several individual strategic investors also took part. Valuation was not disclosed. Total capital raised now exceeds $27 million. Proceeds will go toward the company's AI and clinician care model, deeper personalization of patient enrollment and care, and a move into autoimmune conditions that often overlap with GI disease. The Boston company runs a virtual clinic staffed by GI-trained providers, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, clinical pharmacists, health coaches and care coordinators. It says it is in-network with most commercial health plans and reaches more than 80 million Americans through payer, employer and health system partnerships. Amazon Health's Benefits Connector listed it as the first digital GI option. The company also reports an average 47% improvement in GI symptoms, though that figure is self-reported. For AI founders, the round shows investors funding AI that sits inside a staffed clinical service rather than replacing it. Distribution through insurers and employers did much of the work here, and the models serve as a layer on top of that access. A proprietary condition-specific dataset is the stated basis for expanding into adjacent areas, which is a pattern worth testing in any vertical care startup.
