Antioch raises $32M Series A
Greylock led the round, with A*, Category Ventures, Box Group and Icehouse Ventures participating. Angels include Palantir CTO Shyam Sankar, Foxglove CEO Adrian Macneil and NVIDIA executive Ian Andrews. Greylock partner Saam Motamedi is joining the board. Valuation was not disclosed. The money will go toward product development, engineering hires and deeper simulation capabilities. The company was founded in New York in May 2025 by Tesla and Meta Reality Labs alumni. It counts Amazon's Ring as a customer and has infrastructure partnerships with NVIDIA and Nebius. It raised a $4.25M pre-seed in December 2025 and an $8.5M seed in April 2026. Outlets tally total funding differently: one puts it at $44.75M in just over a year, while another counts $40.5M disclosed. For founders building robots, drones or other hardware-bound AI, the pitch is that testing becomes a software loop instead of field work. One analysis notes a limit: public evidence does not quantify how well virtual passes predict field results. Buyers should ask for that data before relying on simulation to replace hardware tests.
