ANDE.AI LTD raises $52M Series A
The $52 million covers seed and Series A funding combined, and the New York company announced it as it emerged from stealth. Lightspeed Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Duration Ventures and Sierra Ventures led, with Bain Capital Ventures participating. One tracker lists Lightspeed as the sole lead. No valuation was disclosed. Lohit Sarma and Michael McDermott founded the company in 2023. Ande uses agents to check venue availability, book experiences, route approvals, execute contracts and reconcile expenses for client dinners, offsites and similar spending. More than 60 enterprises use it and report savings of 12 to 15 percent. Customers include Cloudflare, Salesforce and McGraw Hill, and more than $400 million a year moves through a network of 93,000 providers in 90+ cities. The company estimates enterprise entertainment spend at $325 billion annually. For AI founders, the deal shows that investors will put large early checks into agents built for one narrow category of spend, provided the company can show real transaction volume and a supply network that competitors would find hard to copy.
