MIND raises $72M Series B at $300M for AI-native data loss prevention
Crosspoint Capital Partners led the round, with existing backers YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group also taking part. The announcement came on September 17, 2026, a year after a $30M Series A, and total funding is now $112M. The $300M valuation is an estimate reported by press, not a figure the company confirmed. MIND says revenue grew more than 17x and customers 8x over the past year. It also launched AI DLP Agents, which take on the day-to-day running of a DLP program. The company is headquartered in Seattle with development in Israel. CEO Eran Barak previously founded Hexadite, which Microsoft acquired for $100 million in 2017. The money will go to product development, enterprise market expansion, channel partnerships and hiring. MIND competes with legacy DLP vendors, and its pitch is that rule-based tools can't follow data moving through GenAI apps and autonomous agents. For AI founders, the buyer side is the point. MIND's own research found 65 percent of enterprises lack confidence in their controls over data feeding AI systems. Expect security reviews of AI products to ask what data agents can read and send out, and who can audit it. Startups selling into large enterprises should prepare clear data-handling answers, since this category is attracting funding to enforce them.
