Hackuity raises $18.5M Series B
Forgepoint Capital International led the round, with existing backers Bright Pixel, Bpifrance and Seventure Partners also taking part. Total funding now stands at €32M ($38M). Valuation was not disclosed. The money is earmarked for product development, more AI features and growth across Europe and Asia. The Lyon company, founded in 2018, runs a vulnerability operations center that pulls findings from more than 130 security tools and ranks them with its own risk-scoring engine. It reports more than 6,000 users, 2 million protected assets and 1 billion findings under management. Named customers include ENGIE, BPCE and Orange Cyberdefense. Its previous round was a roughly $13M Series A in March 2022. The timing reflects a backlog problem. Known CVEs have reached about 350,000, up roughly 20% year over year, and AI scanning tools are surfacing more flaws than human teams can triage. Other French security startups funded this year include Qevlar AI, Escape and MokN. For AI founders, the signal is that AI-driven discovery creates demand for AI-driven triage. Buyers are paying for systems that decide what to fix first, not for more alerts. Forgepoint also backed Qevlar AI, so this investor is building a position in this niche.
