XBOW raises $120M Series C
DFJ Growth and Northzone led the round, which values the company at over $1 billion. Sofina and Alkeon Capital joined as new investors, and Altimeter, NFDG Ventures and Sequoia Capital returned. DFJ Growth venture partner Ramin Sayar, a former Sumo Logic CEO, joins the board. The company said the money will go toward enterprise expansion, product development and international growth. The round was later extended. XBOW announced $35 million more from Accenture Ventures, DNX Ventures, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, NVentures, Samsung Ventures and SentinelOne's S Ventures. That puts the Series C at about $155M. Reported total funding varies by source: Ventureburn puts it above $235M at the time of the main round. The prior round was a $75M Series B led by Altimeter in June 2025. XBOW was founded in 2024 by Oege de Moor, who created GitHub Copilot. It reached the top of the HackerOne leaderboard and is deployed at Fortune 500 companies. Its pitch is continuous testing in place of periodic manual pentests. For AI founders, the extension is the more telling signal. Strategic investors that are also likely customers or channel partners are buying in, which suggests agent products with measurable results against human benchmarks can attract both growth capital and enterprise distribution.
